Buying a home is exciting, but let’s be honest—it can also feel a little overwhelming. With so many steps, contracts, and decisions to make, it’s easy to feel lost. That’s where I come in! As your real estate agent, my job is to guide you through the process, answer all your questions, and make sure you feel confident every step of the way.
Let’s break it down so you know exactly what to expect!
First things first—I’m here to help YOU. My job is to look out for your best interests and make sure you get the best possible deal. Here’s what I promise to do for you: ✅ Give you all the info you need to make smart decisions
✅ Keep anything you share with me confidential
✅ Be honest and upfront about any important details about a home
✅ Walk you through paperwork so you understand everything
What I won’t do? I can’t make decisions for you, promise to get a house below market value, or hide anything important from you. My job is to provide you with the facts so you can make the best choice for yourself.
Now, let’s talk about what happens when you decide to buy a home. Here’s a simple breakdown of the journey:
Unless you're paying in cash, the first step is figuring out how much you can afford. This means talking to a lender and getting pre-approved for a mortgage. If you need recommendations for good lenders, I can help!
Once we know your budget, we’ll start looking for homes that match your needs and wants. You’ll get automatic updates whenever a home that fits your criteria hits the market. I’ll also schedule showings so you can tour the homes in person.
Found a home you love? Great! I’ll help you write up an offer and negotiate the best deal. Sometimes, you might be competing with other buyers, so we’ll strategize together to make your offer stand out.
Once your offer is accepted, you’ll have a home inspection to make sure there are no major issues. If repairs are needed, we can negotiate with the seller to get them fixed or ask for a credit.
Your lender will officially approve your mortgage, and we’ll make sure all the paperwork is in order. If any extra time is needed, we can request an extension.
The big day is here! You’ll sign the final paperwork, get the keys, and officially become a homeowner. I’ll be there to make sure everything goes smoothly.
One important thing to know is that sellers don’t always cover the buyer’s agent fees anymore. If there’s a cost involved, I’ll make sure you know upfront so there are no surprises.
Thinking of buying a brand-new home from a builder? Some builders might make it seem like you don’t need an agent—but trust me, having a buyer’s agent is a huge advantage. I’ll make sure you get fair treatment and don’t overpay.
Buying a home is a big step, but you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to guide you, protect your interests, and make the process as smooth as possible. If you’re ready to start your home search (or just have questions), let’s chat! Call us today 888-774-8488
